A European Collaborative Research Project was funded on intentional inhibition of human action. In the Brain & Development lab, Eveline Crone and Margot Schel will study the development of intentional inhibition.

Four labs from the UK (Patrick Haggard), Belgium (Marcel Brass), Germany
(Alex Muchau) and the Netherlands (Eveline Crone) we will work together
to investige the behavioral and neural correlates of Intentional
Inhibition of Human Action. The project in the Brain and Development Lab
will involve studies focusing on the developmental trajectory of
intentional inhibition. The research was funded by the European Science
Foundation. Margot Schel will be involved in the Dutch studies as a PhD
student.
